About us: Finaloop is a hyper-growth, tech-enabled accounting startup providing e-commerce and DTC (Direct-to-Consumer) companies with comprehensive financial solutions. We empower businesses to manage their finances with confidence through innovative technology and expert support. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to fill the role of Head of Community and Events. The ideal candidate will lead all aspects of our community outreach efforts to e-commerce and DTC companies, as well as take charge of planning and executing events in which Finaloop participates or hosts.

Key Responsibilities:


  • Develop and execute a comprehensive community outreach strategy targeting e-commerce and DTC companies.
  • Cultivate and nurture relationships with key stakeholders including clients, industry partners, and influencers to enhance Finaloop's brand presence within the target communities.
  • Plan, organize, and execute events, both online and offline, that align with Finaloop's brand and objectives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and product teams to ensure alignment of community and event initiatives with overall company goals.
  • Monitor and analyze community engagement metrics to assess the effectiveness of outreach efforts and make data-driven decisions for continuous improvement.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in community management and event planning, and incorporate relevant insights into Finaloop's strategies.

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in community management and/or event planning, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record of successfully building and engaging communities within the tech industry, preferably in e-commerce or accounting sectors.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse audiences both online and offline.
  • Proficiency in leveraging social media platforms, online forums, and other digital channels for community building and outreach.
  • Familiarity with event management tools and platforms is a plus.
  • Passion for technology, entrepreneurship, and innovation.
